    Why would you want a person so invested in one side of that alleged battle to be writing a commentary anyway? Hell, I'd tell him to take his opinion to the message boards.

    As far as I could tell, the fact the "He's gonna take our fishing reels!" writer works for BASS wasn't mentioned until today.

    I'd have a lot more respect for ESPN if they had these apologies more often.

    Ain't that the truth, but those are usually in bigger arenas than the hook and bullet set.
