Equip This House

I was inspired to post this by the laundry basket thread, because that is a product I had not considered getting until seeing it. I became a homeowner for the first time a week ago, and today I move into my new place. It is 463 square feet of glorious studio condo living. I am far from domestic. The places I've lived, I've only considered them an afterthought -- a place to lay my head, watch TV and hopefully collect a good portion of my security deposit when I move out. I have a different outlook now that this new place is actually mine. Tonight I'm going to Target for some essentials, but does anyone have suggestions as to what handy items are absolute must-haves? Your suggestions are appreciated.
