I was 12 when Madonna exploded onto the scene with that whole Boy-Toy look. I was smitten from the start.

    1) Borderline (you know, it was the first; she is so damn adorable).

    2) Take a Bow (if you ever want to know how madly in love with Sean Penn she was, probably still is, listen to this a few times in a row)

    3) Papa Don't Preach (loved the short hairstyle when she's wearing the blue jeans; plus, Danny Aiello plays her dad!)

    4) Live to Tell

    5) Justify My Love (uber-sexy)

Like A Virgin and Crazy For You were so close to making the list.

    Elvis

    1) Always on My Mind

    2) Suspicious Minds

    3) In the Ghetto

    4) It's Now or Never

    5) Fools Rush In (and yes, the movie with Matt Perry and Salma Hayek was good)

Justify My Love is one of the sexiest songs ever made. The video reflected it pretty damn well, too.

Elvis did record "Suspicion" in around 1960 or '61, but it wasn't released as a single. Pretty sure Terry Stafford ripped it off note for note.

I can't believe you sullied the name of Elvis Presley by putting him in the same sentence with Madonna.

That slut can go get dropped in a vat of acid. I hate her more than Zeke12 hates Henley.

Wonderful book. I can't even fathom the amount of work that went into Jenkinson's research.....simply awesome.

Makes the case better than anything else that the Babe was by far the greatest baseball player who ever lived, or who ever will live.

    I didn't know you cared!

For sappy personal high school reasons, Crazy for You doesn't make it.

  9. I was dumped to "Crazy for You" in middle school.

    Bitch.

Madonna is a superstar, because she dared touch what everyone wanted a woman to touch. Sex.

She was not afraid to talk, or sing, or dance promiscuously, and America ate it up because we all have raging hormones.

On top of that, she's adjusted wonderfully to make sure she's always lining up with the hottest singers and producers. You wouldn't know she's 50 years old by the songs she's putting out.

She has a great eye for a hot song, you have to give her that.

Indeed, Shaggy. She said she wanted to rule the world, and she did.
