That article is so bad man, it looks like they did copy and paste from Wikipidia.

"We can only speculate numbers" :D sounds like something that would come out of Fox News.

Good laughs, thanks for making my day :p

Facts like English second divison players make a million a year?

Or that fans will travel thousands of miles by horseback to see a second- (or third) tier league soccer team?

For someone who abhors speculation, you sure do speculate a lot.

At least I apologized for the mistake I made.

What mistake should the author of that report apologize for?

"Speculating numbers" what is he claiming?

That is hardly a mistake. It was a speculation he backed up with statistics and evidence.

I have no doubt El Clasico has a huge audience, but it does sound like that 400 million number is one that was somewhat made up and outlets just ran with. I tried a quick bit of research and only found the same references to "expected" and "potential" viewers. No actual hard data.

He says "We know that 2 million people" :) watched el clasico in the USA," this guy is so dumb, that only means around 2 million people watched it on cable tv, not online.

Then he says "moslty" latin america and spanish tv :D

This guy prob went to Clemson and works for Fox News, how stupid can a person be to think nobody watches El Clasico outside of Latin America? Real Madrid just claimed around 400 million fans, saying the majority of their website visits are coming from the USA...

The education in America used to be well respected, it used to be...

Were you speculating on the numbers that would travel to Atl?
