Eight dead in Okla. town hit by tornado

    I used to be that way until I had to run to seek shelter from softball-sized hail. That pretty much did it for me (and totaled my car from all the hail damage).
     
  2. Had an F-2 about five miles north of our apartment yesterday. I'll be driving by Lone Grove this weekend ... awful, totally awful.

    I was once driven back inside by an actual tornado, which thankfully missed us. And I've done the car-wrecked-by-hail thing as well.

    FWIW, I can't imagine living in a place where the ground moves or hurricanes threaten.
