    No. 2 - if by flexible you mean always having to work on 9 stories at a time and NEVER will have time for lunch...then yes, a reporter is flexible.

    Seriously...did the writer of this watch a few TV shows (Everybody Love Raymond and maybe My Boys?) and "figure" this out?

    14. The sportswriter has an in with the local professional teams. He can not only get you free passes to the press box, but you can also meet the players in the locker room and get their autographs!

    Oh, and to add to the list:

    16. JV volleyball games make great dates.

    2. Reporters are usually self-employed and have flexible schedules. If you’re free for lunch on a Wednesday, your significant other might be able to join you. Unfortunately, you likely are paying for lunch.
