    Yes, because everyone in the store did what store employees asked, then an unknown number took without paying, they're all bad. Nailed it.

    I'd guess they texted on their Obama phones. Or maybe it is the same way I know we have donuts in the breakroom, it isn't clear, but you just know.

    That's probably exactly what happened. Seems like the evil empire of Walmart was
    trying to do the right thing and some took advantage of their good will.

    The shame of it is that the next time around Walmart won't be as helpful and
    all kinds of new procedures will be in place.

    They did the stupid thing, not the right thing. Whoever made this decision will be fired. If everyone's credit card suddenly showed no limit would WM let them "buy" whatever they wanted?

    I'm not being argumentative here, but you seem to be treating this as a fact when it's really just someone else's (maybe yours) conjecture. Is it a fact that store employees told those in the store that, no matter what, those customers could buy as much as they wanted? Or is it just that you figured that's what happened?
