    Even easier than state capitals.

The Edmund Fitzgerald sank 32 years ago this past Saturday. What was its destination?

Zug Island is correct. It's Detroit. Lightfoot got it wrong.

Zug Island was the ultimate destination, but more accurately weren't they trying to get to Whitefish Bay to get out of the weather?

I once knew a guy who thought the Gordon Lightfoot song was "The Wreck of the Ella Fitzgerald." That's what he said once, anyway.

That Lightfoot song is great; it's the first song I ever have a memory of; it seemed to come on the radio all the time when my mom would drive me around Chicago as a little kid in the 70s.

Great song. You guys just inspired me to pick up the guitar and play it instead of sitting here on the Internet doing nothing productive.

ELAINE: Andrea Doria? Isn't that the one they did the song about?

    JERRY: (Correcting her) Edmund Fitzgerald.

ELANE: I love Edmund Fitzgerald's voice.

JERRY: (Gives Elaine a look) No, Gordon Lightfoot was the singer. Edmund Fitzgerald was the ship.

GEORGE: (Talking about his would-be apartment) You could fit 15 people in that bathroom..

ELAINE: I think Gordon Lightfoot was the boat.

JERRY: (Sarcastic) Yeah, and it was rammed by the Cat Stevens.
