    In my 3-4 years of covering minor league baseball, I have never, ever met two guys as mean-spirited as Elijah Dukes and Delmon Young when they played for Montgomery. Those guys were straight-up ass holes and their level or arrogence was amazing. They're the only two guys I've ever met in the minors that I truly hope fail in the majors.

    Too bad Young (and even Dukes) have enough talent that they'll probably have good careers...

    The Devil Rays are up the creek here. Desperate for good ballplayers and some momentum for the fan base, they've got to make a go of it with first-class knuckleheads in Dukes and Young. Not exactly billboard material.

    Go to Baseball America and look up Elijah Dukes. Some of the most fun reading you'll do all year. First-class idiot. He'll be dead or in jail before he's 40. Book it.
