Duel or dual?

I'm sure this has been addressed before, but when dealing with wrestling is it a duel or dual? Duel makes more sense to me, but I often see it as dual. Is there something official on this?

Except in Minnesota, where this is a sore subject.

Also the same with fencing, even though you expect it to always be duel.

Let's have two fights and call it a dual duel. Deal?
