Drug testing

Got a friend who told me that his company will implement random drug testing beginning next month. He's not a druggie (as far as I know) but he doesn't like the idea of big brother testing him, especially since he's been there for 13 years. What are your thoughts?

 

Big deal. Just don't do drugs...Simple as that.

 

If you're a 21-year-old straight out of college, and somebody's suddenly telling you that any trace of marijuana in your system is going to cost you your job ... that's a rather simplistic outlook.

 

That just means I'll take the job from them....

I got nothing to hide. It's like when I cross the border or fly. Do whatever you want. I have nothing to hide.

I am straight-edge when it comes to drugs, but you never know how those results can be manipulated. Sloppy test-taking center puts your urine in a contaminated container, next thing you know you're done. That doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen enough to make me concerned.

 

I got drug tested once when I was 19. This was when I smoked pot casually ... . Anyway, I went to GNC and bought this shit that made me not test positive — and it worked. I forget what it was called, but basically, you mixed it in with a gallon jug of water and you drink it.

When I got to the clinic to do the test, I was in the waiting room (waiting of course) and I had to pee so fucking bad I thought my urethra was going to explode.

To make a long story short, I passed, however, if you're getting randomly tested, this is absolutely zero help.
