Eddie Murphy could be nominated.... wonder if he would show.

Who would Eddie bring to the Oscars? Scary Spice, or some tranny he found on Sunset Blvd?

Some would say they are indistinguishable from one another in the right light.

Yes, one of the tabloid TV shows did roll out the "Party All the Time" video the other night.
All together now, 1, 2, 3: "I'm Rick James, bitch!"

I thought Elizabeth Berkley was fantastic. Too much nudity for me.

I've heard Oscar buzz for Hudson and Murphy... It would be insane to see Murphy and an American Idol castoff nominated for anything, but I read somewhere that they said Dreamgirls is better than Chicago...

Bill Murray and Steve Martin deserve Oscars before Eddie Murphy.

You can probably add Billy Crystal to that list as well.

That bar isn't very high, IMO. And I ask not knowing a thing about Dreamgirls: Is it a retelling of the Supremes story?

Depends on who you ask. The people who created it say no, but anyone familiar with the Supremes' story says yes, at least for the major plot points.
