One of my best friends on this board just lost his mother to cancer a few days ago.

Take your bullshit snarking and bickering somewhere else.

Hope all goes well for Imus.

Right, right, right -- because all of you are the only people who have ever been touched by cancer.

    I forgot.

    Again, get over yourselves.

Everyone has been touched by cancer, that's the point. Most of those people understand it isn't a subject worth politicizing or snarking about. As usual, you went the other way.

I apologize to you and others. I'm just overly emotional about cancer this morning.

Howard Stern at one time frequently wished stomach cancer on the chief of the FCC. Does that make it OK to respond in kind if Stern falls ill?

I hope you know I wasn't referring to you in any way. I'm sorry if our posts crossed and gave you that impression.

That's funny since you were in the leadoff spot with your thoughts on the show.

Why the need for the qualifier? Why not just wish Don Imus well and leave it at that?

Were you afraid that you would be ostracized by the board elite if you posted an unconditional get well wish?

    C. Vivian Stringer just called a press conference.

I guess Howard Stern wished for this at one time or another.

I would be very curious what Howard will say about this. I think it was Mankow (sp?) who he publicly wished would die from cancer.

One page in, and it's crying for this already.
