    Hey folks,
My four-year-old maremma may have hypothyroidism. We first have to get a skin condition under control before we can do blood work.
But I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this and how you're dealing with it.
    Thanks in advance!

I know about hyperthyroidism, my old weimaraner had it and I have had several aging cats with it. It's a common hormonal abnormality that can be easily treated with medication, but some pets do not respond well to the treatment.
