Does anyone read the Popeye comic strip?

WTF ??? Is this really appropriate?

Looks like the cartoonist is committing professional suicide.

 

I did until that strip appeared. Won't anymore! Guess now I'll stick to Alley Oop and Lil Abner among the oldies.

 

I'm still trying to figure out what Blondie sees in Dagwood Bumstead.

Also, I wish Cathy's husband would tell her to drink a big glass of STFU already.

 

It's no worse than Popeye telling Olive "Well blow me down!"

 

Or Popeye telling Olive Oil, "I rams what I rams, so get ready for a Bootsing!"

 

Popeye has had a bit of a history in controversy, if I recall. Back me up here Rallen13, but wasn't there long ago controversy surrounding whether or not Popeye and Olive Oyl were going to "keep" a baby, a reference to abortion?

 

Cathy's a stupid bitch. I still can't figure out why she's still around.

Is that Popeye cartoon for real, or is it a fake?

 

It's obvious that Popeye has been on the juice for years......there's no way spinach alone can keep the definition in those forearms. And OliveOil is obviously strung out.......she's a skeleton.

Don't even mention Pluto.......
