    I see that it's a disabled form of HIV. But honestly? Let's say that it turned out that the HIV virus - the full-fledged, operational virus - was a cure for cancer. If I got cancer, I'd say, "Bring it on," and I wouldn't think twice about it.

    I'm not so sure about that. A fair number of cancers are pretty minor. Yeah, if you were in this girls' situation and had no other options and were about to die, then sure. But otherwise, I dunno...
