    Hey, how's that new Detroit guy working out at Dallasnews.com? Has the lack of maturity and professionalism worn thin with the pros, what remains of them, on Young Street?

    An update: I just talked to Chuck. He started back to work today. He's here at the office getting back up to speed and will be back on the road this weekend. He looks good and says he's feeling a lot better after having two blockages cleared.

    I knew he was going to be OK the day he got the stent put in -- he e-mailed some Texas A&M notes and his picks for the week's games from the hospital. He said today he wanted to write his Monday column last week but management wouldn't let him (good for management, by the way).
