Not a sports gig, but definitely an interesting position. This position oversees a joint effort between The Macon Telegraph, Georgia Public Broadcasting and Mercer University. Basically, The Telegraph is moving its newsroom to a new facility at Mercer, where it will join a beefed-up GPB news operation and a relaunched Mercer journalism school. The Telegraph remains editorially independent and owned by McClatchy while at the same time becoming a teaching newspaper for Mercer j-school students.

I wish my school had this kind of program. I also wish they would have taught me some photography.
