  1. HIRING: Digital Content Producers


    We are seeking ambitious and motivated journalists for immediate full-time openings at SN’s editorial offices in Charlotte, N.C.


    Applicants must …


    • Have the ability to work smart and fast in an autonomous newsroom environment.
    • Be digital natives with experience in online news judgement and publishing.
    • Look past daily challenges to identify solutions and bring new ideas to the group.
    • Understand what does (and does not) resonate among sports fans.
    • Be willing to work a combination of days/nights, weekdays/weekends. (No full-time telecommuting)
    • Have strong grammar skills, meticulous attention to detail and a firm grasp of AP style.
    • Write clean, concise and interesting content of all sizes in a timely fashion.
    • Have working knowledge of all sports.
    • Be able to demonstrate experience applying best practices across social media.
    • Bonus round: Video editing and/or graphics skills, on-camera work and management/leadership experience are a plus.
    • 1-3 years experience preferred.
