We are SportsManias, a website and app that delivers diehard fans real-time, curated and personalized newsfeeds on their favorite teams and fantasy players. We are also the only app that offers its users an entire sports-based animated emoji keyboard. We are looking for an animator to focus on this project and join our small but powerful existing team.

To join our team you will:

-- Be a creative, self-motivated individual with a keen visual sense and passion for good animation.

-- Be an expert in After Effects (or something comparable), and willing to learn other new and innovative animation applications.

-- Be a sports fan, the more passionate the better. Have a superior understanding of the way the body of an athlete moves within different sports, and the physics behind it.

-- Be well organized and a keen self starter, not shy of showing initiative to move projects forward.

-- Able to take concise direction and execute, or general direction and innovate.

-- Be friendly, enthusiastic and not afraid of hard work or tight deadlines.

-- Preferred to work on location but also driven enough to work remotely and independently if needed.

If that sounds like you, please send your resume and portfolio to our Director of User Experience, Eric Johnston, at ericj@sportsmanias.com

We look forward to hearing from you, and here's an example of our emojis in action.
