Did Jeffrey Dahmer kill Adam Walsh?

Tough story for John Walsh this time of year, I'm guessing.

 

I wonder how the mother lives with herself.

 

Columbo: That's not really fair. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a couple (man, woman, two men, two women, whatever) that hasn't sent their kids on ahead to the toy section while they leisurely strolled over or checked out something else. And even doing that briefly is long enough for something bad to happen. That said, I'm sure it's haunted her for 25 years, and I'm sure she did blame herself.

 

At 6, I would not allow my kids to go off by themselves in a store.

Doesn't mean they wouldn't do it without my say-so, though.

 

It's perfectly fair.

I couldn't live with myself if that were me.

If that happened to me, and I had no other children, I would sure as hell have committed suicide.

I could not live with that guilt.

But seriously, is it just a serial killer fascination, something specific to the Dahmer case or what?

 

Only fair considering he'd already eaten everybody else's. :-X

He lived in a neighborhood where, 10 years earlier, I had friends living, and I covered his sanity trial freelance.
