    Didn't someone make a movie about this?

    It's a thought that must've occurred to someone at the Wynn Macau last Thursday, when officials woke to find a $258 million hole in their accounts. Adding insult to injury, the heist was the second such super-sized robbery in 18 months: In April 2014, a single inside operator made off with a staggering $1.3 billion from the Kimren Group (a gambling junket).

    These are hustles that make George Clooney’s crew look like convenience store shoplifters. And they've put Macau, the world's largest gambling destination—over 31.5 million visitors came to place bets in 2014 alone—on some very unstable financial ground.​
