    When gas and rapidly-ascending grocery prices have the middle-class and below by the gonads, what are they supposed to do?

    Keep spending like drunken sailors?

    That would be irresponsible, eh, what?

    Now, W can keep spending like a drunken sailor . . . but then, as previously noted, it's not HIS money.

    It's easy to tell someone to keep spending their money when your life is almost completely supported by the taxpayer's dollars and not your own. I mean, who really pays for his groceries? His commutes (by helicopter as often as any other mode) to where ever he goes? This guy can't relate for shit with what the average American is anymore.

    The same people who are blaming the Dems for talking about the recession are the same people who believe the Great Depression was caused by those lazy poor people who didn't want to work.
