Dell laptop question

Someone once asked how to increase the screen brightness on a Dell laptop.

I have an Inspiron 6000 and cannot find that thread with the information.

Thank you for any assistance.

I'll now dodge the rocks and brickbats hurled at my Dell from any Dell-haters.

 

Control and up arrow buttons work for me.

 

On mine, a similar model, it's the function button, "Fn" right next to the left control button, along with the up directional. The down button, obviously, dims the screen. But hold the Fn button down with it.

 

I learn something new about my work laptop every day.

 

I'm here to educate the masses, my friend.

 

Throw it out the window from the 15th story and then piss on it.

to clarify: Drop the Dell from a 15th story or higher, run down the stairs cackling like a madman, and then piss all over the remnants. then put it in a package and mail to Dell HQ. those fucking fucks.
