Just a great story of what people can do when the authorities won't...

some excerpts from the story...but there's much more that I'm not copying here that's worth reading

I know there has to be limits about what states can do in granting these last requests, but there has to be some more latitude than this. In Texas, condemned inmates can't even have cigarettes with their last meal. WTF? Afraid they're going to die of cancer?

Yeah, the story says he wanted to donate a pizza to any homeless person (singular). The prison couldn't have baked a pizza and handed it to any homeless person in the area? Apparently the executed man wasn't a good person, and it's unbelievable that someone could find a way to say no to what was probably his last kind, humane act on the planet.

    Fucking murderous bastard.

Let the homeless eat some meat, they need the protein.

But pizza covers so many food groups...
    bread in the crust
    veggie in the tomato
dairy and protein in the cheese

There was a guy who California executed a few years ago (the one right after Tookie) who had a heart attack while he was on death row and they revived him and kept him alive until they were finally able to do the job themselves.

Fuck that death-row asshole. His last request ends up making the police look bad? Give me a break. And how much time, money, and food have all those "upset" people donated before this?

Warden: "Do you have any last requests, Suge?"
Suge: "Hell yeah, motherfucka! I want all my peeps and posse to go out and do a drive by in my honor."
Warden: "Uh, we can't honor that request. Our job is to arrest people, not shoot your enemies. Okay, drop the pellets (to the gas chamber)."
