Pat Forde had some good stuff about them on ESPN.com. Can't remember if it was Forde Yard Dash or another story, but check it out. I'd try to post a link, but my work computer doens't handle espn.com very well.

    Funny stuff.
    "Bomb Ann Arbor Now" on

... and an interview with one of the guys, with clips of Bo Schembechler inserted:

and "Chad Henne is a M**** F**** Joke", with lyrics that include "he's as welcome as rectal itch":

They posted a nice note on their website earlier today. You can read it on the main thread.

That's good to hear that the Ohio State fans are behaving...

The Dead Schembechlers was not a Bo death wish, but a takeoff on the Dead Kennedys. These guys are half Michigan-hating, half old punk-remembering, as you can see by the band members' "names:"

vocals -- Bo Biafra (as in Jello)
guitar -- Bo Thunders (as in Johnny)
bass -- Bo Vicious (as in Sid)
drums -- Bo Scabies (as in Rat)

They even matched up the right homages with the right instruments. (Though it's doubtful Vicious ever really played his bass.)

Their logo is a takeoff on the Ramones' original, military-style logo.

Website has exceeded its monthly traffic allotment. There's a shocker.

Hondo's timing on this thread has me spooked.
