Isn't it still dark 18 hours a day in Canada? So now the sun will go down at 4 p.m. instead of 3 p.m. right?

AP style public service announcement: saving, not savings.

    You're welcome. ;)

    Fixed.

I thought you were the new moderator, not the new language cop. :)

I'm adding those services free of charge. I'm already paid an obscene amount to moderate. I feel guilty about that.

  5. Yeah, but how do you quantify beer and hookers on a W-2?

They're listed as "implied benefits" and the IRS does indeed count them...

Uh, not that I'd know that, or anything.

Listening to how bad the Royals are makes your golf score seem that much better.

You won't think it's so funny when all of your computer datebooks go haywire for three weeks and you're an hour late to your appointment next Tuesday. :)

Our IT folks are borrowing our laptops today to install some sort of software to adjust to the early arrival of DST.

Haywire? Because the clock at the bottom of the screen is off by an hour? Or a document is timestamped an hour early?

Unless the machine won't work when I want to write a story, save a story or email a story, I don't care what time it thinks it is.

    That took WAY too long.

The best thing about DST starting early is that Indiana is finally on the same page with everyone else and being the bastard child of the Union, and an extra couple of weeks of sunlight at the end of work, without heading to work in the dark and shuffling home in the dark.
