Turns out Wade was totally misquoted:

Whats that german word we see here sometimes? ... schandenfreuden?
I'm not one to do that sort of thing but I keep thinking how hilarious it would be if the team didn't excel.

It's tough for me, too, since MSU had the conference's top defender (JVarnado) twice in a row and now he's a Miami draft pick.

    I'm just sayin'

    He's a jock, not a leader.

Though his words were stupid and completely out of bounds, if he had put it in another way he would have been right.
That Heat team loses 2-3 games in a row and everyone is going to come down on them like a ton of bricks.
He wanted to be clever with what he knows will happen, he instead put his foot so far in his mouth he was pooping laces.

    a) Wade himself made no comparison to the WTC, he said the media would.

    b) He's right.

    c) The Heat SHOULD be expected to win every single game, and raked over red-hot blazing coals any time they don't. They (LBJ, Wade, Bosh) were the ones who hatched the plan for world domination, so they deserve every ounce of shit they can eat if and when it doesn't work out.

Anything less than 70 wins and the NBA championship is utter failure and disaster for this team. Not WTC disaster, but basketball disaster.

Actually, you can blame his dad, Dwyane Wade Sr.

  8. Wade is absolutely right in what he said.

The media made LeBron out to be Benedict Arnold because he made a free agent choice, and chose to do so in a public way.

I don't have even the slightest problem with that.

Dawnye is Dwayne's smoking-hot twin sister.
