Snow has wiped out the first week of basketball season and every other prep sport at my paper. Now I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel for stories. Anyone else in the same boat?

Got a few inches out here, and it was damn cold last night and all day today.

    It's 70 degrees here. I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt today.

  4. We're going home early tonight! "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"

You're lucky, friend of mine in retail had to wait in the snow for a cab... However, I wish it were snowing here, I hate 70-degree weather in late November

We're going early tonight as well. They're predicting 8-12 inches of snow, which means we get 1 inch.

Find some feature stories, write a column, use big pictures.

I don't anticipate seeing more than an inch of snow all year where I live.

  8. I'm above 70. Flip-flops for me.

Well, you could always use the Eva Longoria-Tony Parker hookup :)

I'm sorry, what? That doesn't happen in this business, does it?

    Actually it does...

Even when I was in Michigan, there were days/nights where we'd go hours early in anticipation of 6-12 inches of snow
