Reason to hate this AFC result:

    - We're left to watch the insufferable Peyton Manning pick apart Chicago in what will no doubt be the most lopsided Super Bowl in at least a decade.

Reason to like this AFC result:

    - We won't have to watch the insufferable, pimple-faced Belichick boys roaming the sidelines, acting like they belong there.

  2. You mean like how Brees was supposed to pick the Bears apart this week? ::)

Right. Because Drew Brees is Peyton Manning.

Manning is a very good quarterback, as demonstrated tonight, but let's put off his canonization until he leads the Colts to a rout of the (supposedly quite shitty ::)) Bears.

That would have been an excruciating four hours to be an Indy fan.

Manning is due. Bears keep it close for awhile, but Colts pull away for a three-TD win.

What does this mean? "Manning is due."

Oh, OK then let's not play the games.

Sorry; I just hate that terminology. "He'll win because well . . .he's DUE!"

Bullshit. If they win because they're better on the day, then good for them. But no one is "due."

Just as the Bears shouldn't do another music video, Manning should not do any Super Bowl commercials.

Gee, my bad. Saying "he's due" means, in my opinion, that he's finally there. The pressure is off. He's a great QB on a great team, and they could have a field day.
