    Try Hotwire.com

I just did a quick look on the days you posted and found a 3.5 Star Hotel in the Dupont Circle-Embassy Row area for $69 a night, a 4.5 for $106, a 4 star in the White House/Capitol area for $79 a night.

I don't know if that's the area you want to be in but HC & I swear by Hotwire.

Got a room at the Intercontinental in Boston (about a five minute walk from Boston Common) for $129 a night. It's normally between $325 & $375. a night.

I was happy enough that they wanted to go there to watch football or whatever else.

Third the Sonner/Headbutt suggestipon vis-a-vis CCSP. Third floor there is what a sports bar should be.

We seriously need to have a small DC-people happy hour at CCSP. Soon.

CCSP is probably the least pretentious bar in Arlington, or at least it used to be. It's also where I watched George Mason beat Michigan State in the first round of the 2006 NCAA tourney. For that reason alone I'll always have good memories of the place.

I have NEVER had a bad time watching a game there. I HAVE had a couple of outright times of celebration with the way some games I was watching went. A college football Saturday afternoon should be the scene.

I'm game. I occasionally grab beers with a co-worker who lives in Pentagon City, and CCSP is our spot, specifically the third-floor bar.
