I'm with wicked: Hadn't SVU gone wild long ago?

I am on the verge of giving up on the mothership as well: I could take flat storylines. Little character development (especially across episodes) giving away to stereotype. And the recycling of stories. But all of that?

However, I'm really liking Criminal Intent. Especially, the latest addition, Alicia Witt. Watched last week's episode on the DVR, only to then get another look at her in "The Upside of Anger."

And yes, I know this thread is useless without pictures.

 

I liked her best as the kid sister in Dune.

Last night's episode was dreadful. The new guy is just there, being partnered with Ice-T, who has all the range of stale bread. Belzer's miscast as the office know-all who on occasion cracks a joke. The sexual tension between Meloni and Hagarity has reached "shit or get off the pot" levels. And the Hagarity-Neal interaction following the fax to McCoy was ridiculous.

Other than that, it was a fine episode.
