Curt Schilling contemplating run at Ted Kennedy's vacant senate seat

Simply put: It'll be hilarious.

 

Curt's campaign speeches would be longer than Fidel Castro's speeches.

 

He's been angling for this ever since he wrote that treacly 'Letter to the Fans' after the 9-11 attacks. Because nothing is perceptible until it is framed oh so properly by Curt Schilling.

 

It would definitely make an otherwise dull, very-low-turnout special election much more entertaining and newsworthy. And if he were somehow to win? I guess it wouldn't be any more bizarre than Jesse The Body Ventura and Ah-nold winning governorships or Al Franken getting a senate seat.

 

Did Schilling go to college? I know Ahnold, Franken and Ventura did.

 

I would love to see this fucking moron go for it.

 

I think the fact that Schilling is a Republican would hurt his chances more than him being a Steelers fan. Aren't there about three Republicans in MA, and that number drops when Mitt Romney is out of state.
