Crystal Cox's blogging crusade

Crystal Cox gained some notoriety last week after a judge ruled shield laws meant for journalists don't apply to her. I guess after the blogosphere whined, they didn't look into the case. Cox apparently set up 1,900 website to post her shrill rants and offered to clean up the online reputations of the companies she ranted against for a "small" fee.

Bloggers should remember to not hitch their wagons to nutjobs.

Wow. I never heard of Crystal Cox until now, but she does remind me of an Examiner writer who sees conspiracies in everything pertaining to her beat. Mind you, she covers women's soccer. Needless to say, very few people take her seriously, yet she continues to boast that she has a grad degree in sports management and that anyone who disagrees with her "needs to do his homework." So, because of this, she is absolutely qualified to spout garbage theories without backing them up.
