    Surprised this hasn't been mentioned (if it was, I am missing it), but I have always thought Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton is a beautiful song.

    I also love the song Something, which George Harrison wrote for the Beatles, and I think it is a wonderful love song.

    What is amazing is that both of those songs were written for the same woman, Pattie Boyd, who Clapton met (and later married) when she was married to Harrison.
