    72 oz. of steak.

    2 sides

    Dinner roll

    Salad

    Shrimp Cocktail

    1 hour

Me, mamachef and Jr.chef will be in Amarillo next weekend for school shopping.

    I'm doing it.

It's got a list of people that have done it on their site.....one person did it in 19 minutes.

Screw the shrimp, salad, the sides and the roll, I'd say (though I guess you can't for the "official" title). I think those would be detrimental to putting away the 72 oz of meat even more than, well, the 72 oz.

I'm pretty sure both the guy from Man vs. Food and Bourdain (maybe his assistant) have tried this. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but both failed.

On my recent trip through Texas, we thought about going to try it, but it was like four hours out of our way. Damn, that's one big state.

Yeah, it was Bourdain's assistant and he definitely failed. I didn't see the Man v. Food where he tried it.
