    Holy crap, Tom Verducci of SI is on CNN and says this might have been Cory Lidle's plane.

    CNN reporting it was registered to him and Verducci reporting the Yankees said he was supposed to take off to fly home at that time.

    Holy Shit!
    Phils fanboard I hang out at had a joke about it being Lidle's plane about five minutes after the crash.
    Now damned if it wasn't. Wow.

    WCBS just reported that a member of the Yankees was on the plane according to law enforcement officials.

    CNN reporter has been reading verbatim from a NY Times feature on Lidle and his 95-hour pilot experience. No credit given.

    If there are four people in the plane, it's entirely possible there was another ballplayer or two from California on board. Holy moley.

    Jeremy Schapp on ESPN saying Lidle was piloting it, one other person killed was in the apartment.
