    Job description: Seven-morning daily seeks a copy editor/page designer who enjoys mixing a love of language with a flair for design. Must think of the section fronts as canvases and not the conventional newspaper page. Copy editing and headline writing required. A passion for and knowledge of sports preferred.

    Only 40 minutes from Indianapolis, Columbus has a small-town feel but with big-city benefits, such as a Fortune 500 company, world-renowned art and architecture, growing high-tech commerce and a nearby artists’ community.



    Needs to be:

    Multifunctional

    Detail-oriented.

    Team player.

    Flexible.

    Willing to learn.

    Able to work under pressure situations.

    Able to paginate pages with InDesign.

    Familiar with Illustrator and Photoshop

    Familiar with AP stylebook.

    Hours: Full time; nights and weekends a must. Schedule integral to job.

    Salary: Competitive salary and excellent benefits.
