    Don't be hating on Carrie. The Peyton-Carrie SNL last year was the only time I have watched that show in two decades.

    but before I could get to the station in my pickup

    she got run over by damned ol' traaaaaaaaaaaaain.....

    Fucking brilliant. I can hear that song 20 times a day at Tootsie's in Nashville and never get tired of it.

    Not to threadjack, but somebody was telling me he went to a David Allan Coe concert a few years back and there were, like, skinheads there, because of some sort of racist vibe or something? I'd always liked the guy, found this very depressing. An offshoot from his prison stay? Anybody know about this?

    Ahhh. Now I have. Hard to know what to believe out of all that.
    I guess the most illuminating thing in that reading for me was that John Prine and Steve Goodman actually wrote "You Never Even Call Me By My Name," so this really was a felony thread-jack on my part.
