    The other thing about news traveling fast is that the Battle of New Orleans took place after the peace treaty was signed. They hadn't heard the war was over.

    Not entirely true. The New Orleans Saints' coaching staff paid them a bounty so they fought anyway.

    CJ Ross had it 115-113 for the US.
    Jerry Roth had it 115-113 for the Brits.
    Duane Ford had it 114-114 for a DRAW.

    The downside of this war was we ended up with Ottawa as a capital, instead of the obvious choice Toronto
