    Hey, I'm not blindly defending the BTN, which has some pretty serious warts. I'm just saying it has its pluses, too.

    My point is the plusses you mention already existed before BTN. To make Big Ten fans jump through hoops just to see games that were readily available before its formation is reason alone to dislike BTN.

    Fair, but not 100 percent true.
    The extended highlights shows, mid-week replays and league-wide coaches shows are nice additions.
