Two young kids injured as school was being let out. Injuries aren't believed to be life threatening.

    Adult male is in custody.

The middle school, Deer Creek, is in Littleton. The same city as ... Columbine. The schools are about three miles apart.

Wow. What a great job by that teacher, that's a HERO, not some sports celebrity. Probably saved 5-10 maybe even more kids.

Why is it that our economy pays Jerome James $30M/5 years to sit on the bench of an NBA team but this teacher/hero gets $45k/year? We entrust our kids to our teachers and they do a little saving every day. We have to get back to fundamentals of our society.

Shooter is 32. Not much older than what the Columbine shooters would be today if they were alive.

Some make more than that, depending on the district.

    Don't quibble about pay.

This guy put his life on the line for other people's kids by taking on an armed gunman.

I think that is above and beyond the job description.
