If only the 12-24 inches of tropical storm rain falling this week in north Florida could be shipped out there. Really feel for all those folks.

    We'll take 1-2 inches.

I don't know the person, but a FB friend-of-a-friend posted this exact photo with the chilling words "Our home is on the far left." That's a jolt of reality.

The Mayans warned everyone about this.

We've been doing updates from a good friend at KRDO in CS.

He says it's like something out of a movie.

I have family there too... For the last few weeks it was all Larimer County and I talked to a friend who lives in Fort Collins and he said it was all pretty pulled back from the cities in that county (Loveland, Fort Collins), but seeing that there's a fire in Colorado Springs now is just crazy.

The Air Force Academy has one of the most gorgeous campuses I've ever seen. It's just crazy to see the fires so close to that.

So what will stop this? Rain?

At this point, is it only Mother Nature that can put this out?

Talked to a friend from up there last night and there are reports that whatever started this fire was man-made. No word if it was an accident or intentional.
