College hoops 1/13-1/14 weekend

Auburn, as usual, plays a good team close before losing.

 

Kansas eked one out at the Hellton Coliseum. That place has tortured Kansas over the years. I like that new Iowa State coach. He'll get the Clones back in the top 25 soon, and he'll do it sober.

 

Wow, Virginia Tech is waxing North Carolina. So, who is the new No. 1 going to be?

 

Wisconsin?

 

Which lost to Missouri State, I believe. Fear the MVC!

Also, it likely will be Florida.

 

Florida. The Gators lurking at No. 2, and a 34-point thumping to the Chickens in Columbia won't hurt the cause.

Wisconsin should get some consideration after that win over Ohio State in Madison.

Mustardbased? Clemson a fluke? Because they're unbeaten or is that the Chickensfanboy talking? ;D

UNC has pulled within 9 with 2 minutes left.

 

OK.. I can't listen to Brent Musburger anymore. UNC is still down 8 and they're talking like they've taken the lead.

 

That was nearly an epic collapse by the Hokies.
