College Football Week 2

Wow, the KU student body has really started a trend here. I saw Michigan (with Ohio State) and now this.

 

Week 2 of the 2006 season and Cal State Fullerton continues its unbeaten streak. Since 1993.

 

Penn State's gonna whip Notre Dame.
And Georgia's going to whip South Carolina.
And Ole Miss vs. Missouri is a toss-up. (I'm taking the Rebels to win on the road).
Oh, and get Ohio State to maximize your already-huge payday.

 

Wow. I don't know about that one. Did you see that pitiful ass defense Sunday?

 

James Madison at Appalachian State this weekend in the battle of the last two I-AA champions.

Yeah, I care.

 

I wish I could remember which team Ohio State was playing this weekend. It's on the road, I think.

I think the big chalk will have another strong week... probably its last of the season, though, at least until New Year's Day. Auburn, UCLA and especially Va.Tech this week. FWIW, I'm expecting to see 60 points in the Cal/Minnesota game.

 

I've always been fascinated by signs the fans make to wave at games. Some are very well made. Some are too small. Some are hilarious. Some are stoopid.

When I see one with professional-quality printing, I think, "Wow, that's professional-quality printing."
