SMU appears to be on their way to taking one of those spots. Up 28-6 on Tulsa in the second quarter.

Glad to see I'm not the only one enjoying some C-USA action right now.

Honest or not, FSU will run a train on them. And didn't UNC have a better record too?

Pittsburgh, which will not be going to a bowl game, is running roughshod over 9-1 Rutgers. The Big East Conference remains awful.

Every other game is at halftime.

North Carolina and Miami entered 4-3 in the ACC. Georgia Tech went 5-3. The Yellow Jackets beat the Tar Heels head-to-head.

And 4-6 UConn is up 10-zip on Louisville at the half. This is some great top-tier C-USA action.

I take pride in not having a Big East team above No. 18 in my SportsJournalists.com poll all season. What a joke.

Pittsburgh is a much improved team from the beginning of the year. And Paul Chryst remains the man.

Pittsburgh is coming off a loss to Connecticut. The Panthers aren't better. They've been inconsistent all season. And Paul Chryst has done a poor job with a lot of talented players.

That team is good enough to win the Big East.

Pittsburgh was awful the first two weeks of the season. The ARE much-improved. Any my man-crush on Paul Chryst remains.

And good enough to win the ACC Coastal Division, too, whose championship game representative might need a UCLA-like reprieve to see a bowl game.
