I have a co-worker who graduated from Bowling Green. We were talking about the MAC's annual disappearance from Saturday football yesterday. In a nutshell, we determined that nothing says MAC football in November like a game played in a driving rainstorm before 3,000 fans in a 30,000-seat stadium.

Tuesday and Wednesday games in November are no way to build a program.

Looked like far less than 3,000 late in the game.

Maybe they're pimping themselves out for TV cash because it's the only way in hell they're getting ANY eyeballs.

BTW, don't think any of the games went over last night. A bit curious. There's a whole betting aspect to MACtion that'll make for a good story one day.

I hope those MAC players are making a mint off some syndicate.

The most victimless crime I've ever come across is players throwing games.

You lost $$ because State U threw a game? Boo Hoo.

I didn't bet the games, just noticed the scores were low.

It's the same way Asian gambling rings bribe low level Eastern European soccer refs and players. Who's to say what's just the ordinary incompetence versus losing on purpose?

Just from the camera angles I'm seeing in the Northern Illinois-Ball State game, the attendance looks terrible.

I guess they're going for a national TV audience over attendance.

Weather yesterday was AWFUL (for both games seeing as they were taking place like 30 miles from each other). Anyone who bet the over had to know they were boned the second they turned on the TV.
