Am disappointed that there's no former player associated with this thread.
Revenge of LaVar Arrington would have been nice...

And 1500 yards in offense -- Western with 640 and only has the ball 20 minutes? Eight punts in the game and 10 turnovers, six by Toledo? Welcome to MAC basketball...

More combined points than the Toledo-Western Michigan hoops game back in February, a 68-56 WMU win. They also met in January adn that meeting, a 70-63 Toledo win, had just four fewer points than tonight's game.

Given the score of this game the Week 11 thread should be dedicated to Andre Ware.

John Jenkins laughs at Toledo's plodding offense. It's just two weeks past 22 years ago that this happened:

Has the nation ever rooted for Nebraska in any big game before?

Good point. Rephrase: Have Oklahoma fans ever rooted for Nebraska in a big game before? Even Sooner Nation has to be behind the Huskers this week.

Didn't want to post this on the other thread for obvious reasons, but I've got to think the guy who replaces Paterno will have to have zero connections to Penn State. No former players, no former coaches and probably no coaches who have had any trouble with players in past college jobs.
So I'm thinking a former NFL coach. Bill Cowher? Brian Billick?

I really don't think Bill Cowher is coming back. I also wonder why anyone that high profile would want this job right now. If replacing Paterno wasn't impossible enough, it now just got a whole lot dirtier.

It was a heck of a game for a half last year. Could be another shootout like the USC game.

Changes to the title: Had to give props to both.
