Which are some of the best written by those in the newspaper industry, be it a beat writer or national writer for Yahoo!, ESPN, SI.com etc.

I'm not interested in the independent "blog only" or "internet only" blogger. I'm more interested in someone who maintains one for a newspaper.

Or, is there a Buster Olney-esque blogger out there I'm missing?

Jeremy Fowler's "Swamp Things" at the Orlando Sentinel is pretty darn good. Updated frequently, good information, relevant.

What more can you ask for from a BLOG (?!) ;D

Jay Christensen, formerly (I believe) of the Los Angeles Times. He aggregates a lot of news.

Pat Stevens of the Washington Times "D1scourse" covers Univ of Maryland and Navy.

One of the best blogs I've ever come across, though it's pretty specific and wouldn't be very interesting to non-Terps or Mids fans.

With a fair amount of ACC stuff sprinkled in as well. I too recommend it; in fact he's counting down (and breaking down) every Division I (or whatever they call it) football team in the country as we speak.

I like the ESPN ones since they have a lot of info on every team and conference. So far, so good.

All K-State related news, across all the sports, written by Jeffrey Martin. Now that I don't live in close proximity to K-State, he's my No. 1 source for anything that comes out of interviews, press conferences. Plus, he usually does a running blog of live events.

Rob Moseley of the Register-Guard in Eugene has a blog that I like to read, multiple updates every day. http://rgweb-c.registerguard.com/blogs/index.php/duckfb/
