No team has beaten Saban three times in a row since he's been at Alabama. The only other one to do so twice was LSU in 2010-11, and Alabama beat them 21-0 when they got another shot.

Not saying it means anything, but it's interesting.

Don't get carried away on Ducks-Huskers. Nebraska seems like they might have coaches with the wherewithal to, say, put a safety on the Olympic hurdler's side of the field on third and 36. Common-sense decisions like that could depress the score.

It's the way I'd bet. Just can't see anybody beating Alabama three years in a row. If it happens, then I'd have to say Ole Miss is really good.

Alabama's interior line is a bit of a mess, especially run blocking, and that's before they false start 3-5 times a game. Wouldn't touch this game

[QUOTE=" I'd give Auburn next week a better shot of beating LSU than Mississippi State.[/QUOTE]

Depending on Fournette's status -- Miles says he'll play -- I wouldn't bet on it. MSU looked much better this week.

I believe they're chartering into Hickory. They should be able to make that trip in 50 minutes with an escort. Most teams stay in Banner Elk, which is 45 minutes up the mountain from Boone.

All Floridiots eventually find their way to Boone and stay until the first frost. They actually make the townies appreciate the college kids. Hopefully, they won't be driving 20 miles under the speed limit with their left signal flashing.

I love Boone, and would move back tonight if I was able, but the marijuana smoke - combined with that soap/crystal stuff the hippies used - always left me nauseated.

One of my old instructor pilots from flight school is from Boone and went to Appy. I always thought he was some sort of hippie, surfer dude from California until he told me.

I'd give everyone a shot at beating LSU. That team looks like it gives one half of two shits about playing good football.

Les was obviously right to stay at LSU in 2011 with the team he had coming back and Dumbass Dave Brandon at Michigan. But this season is it. And if they don't get Jimbo Fisher I'm not sure who they do get. Tom Herman?

A buddy and I were discussing Herman to LSU just this weekend. But when would he go? Miles will not make it through the season. That team just does not want to play, and he's just making it worse. An Auburn, Mississippi State, or Arkansas loss will sink him.

My understanding is Lovie has some assistants who might get a recruit or two.
